DAY 01: Arrival in Muscat

Itinerary: Arrive at Muscat International Airport. Upon arrival, our friendly & efficient Old Nizwa Tours driver will meet you, assist you to the vehicle, and drive you to the hotel. Overnight stay at 3*/4* Hotel in Muscat.

DAY 02: Muscat City Tour

Itinerary: Pick-up at 9.00. The city tour begins with a visit to Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. It is one of the largest mosques in the Middle East. Then we are going to visit the Royal Opera House and watch the amazing architecture there. Later, we drive along the picturesque Muttrah Corniche and visit Muttrah Souq, which retains the chaotic interest of a traditional Arab market. You will stroll through the Souq, where you will have the chance to buy Omani specialties like frankincense. You can also try your hand at bargaining for beautiful silver handicrafts and scarves. You can also enjoy a moment walking along the corniche, admiring the various cruise ships on the water at Sultan Qaboos Port. Then it will be time to have a photo stop at the official residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts Al Mirani and Al Jalali. From the Palace, we will drive back to the hotel. Overnight stay at 3*/4* Hotel in Muscat.

DAY 03: Nizwa Fort & Traditional Souq – Wahiba Sands – Overnight in the Desert

Itinerary: Pick-up at 8:30. After check-out of your hotel, we will start our fascinating round trip where you will experience the history and culture of Oman. Your first stop will be at the spectacular Nizwa Fort with its massive Circular Tower, one of the most impressive forts in Oman. We are going to pass through the old town as well. Then, Nizwa's traditional Souq. The Souq is a lively place and an ideal location to purchase handicrafts and souvenirs. After that, it will be time to begin the journey to the Wahiba Sands. In the heart of the golden sands of the desert, nestled among stunning and ever-changing patterns of dunes, is the Desert Camp. Here you will find a luxurious Bedouin-style air-conditioned accommodation. After settling into the camp, you will enjoy a spectacular view of the sunset. Followed by delicious Arabic Cuisine while you sit under a starry sky around a Camp Fire; this truly is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Overnight at the Desert camp.

DAY 04: Wadi Bani Khalid – Ibra old village – back to Muscat

Itinerary: After breakfast at the desert camp, we will depart on an exciting journey through the mountains. Our first stop will be Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most beautiful wadis. The wadi has clear, deep blue water. The pretty villages of Wadi Bani Khalid cling to the rugged mountainside. After lunch in Wadi Bani Khalid, we will continue to travel back towards Muscat. You will make a further stop at Ibra to visit an old village, then we will travel back to Muscat. Overnight stay at 3*/4* Hotel in Muscat.

DAY 05: Day tour to Grand Canyon Jebel Shams

Itinerary: Pick-up at 8:30.We will depart from your hotel and proceed towards Jebel Shams. After a drive through the ancient village of Al Hamra, we drive up the Mountain to the stunning Grand Canyon of Oman at 2,000 m. You can spend the afternoon walking around this famous Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon offers spectacular views over the surrounding valleys and Wadis below. Then we drive to Al Hamra and into the old part of the village. Then we move on towards Misfat al Abreen. This picturesque village lies on a steep slope at the foot of Jebel Shams, a few kilometers from the village of Al Hamra, and consists of old homes and narrow streets. It has a large Falaj (irrigation) system which supplies water for many orchards and date palms. It is worth spending at least 1 ½ hours walking around the village. There are marked footpaths through the village and surrounding area. In the late afternoon, we drive back to Muscat. Overnight stay at 3*/4* Hotel in Muscat.

DAY 6: Dolphin Watching & Snorkeling Tour (Sharing Basis)

You will be driven to the Marina for check-in and safety brief. At 10:00, depart from the Marina for Dolphin Watching. Later, we will anchor the boat at the beach of the Island, and snorkeling gear will be provided. Overnight stay at 3*/4* Hotel in Muscat.

DAY 7: Departure Muscat

Itinerary: Check out from the hotel and Transfer to Muscat International Airport for Departure.
