Overview

After you enjoy breakfast, the car will be waiting for you to start a new exploration trip to the city of history and heritage, Nizwa The exploration journey begins by arriving at Nizwa Market Square, and taking a tour of the pottery and silverware market and the dates and Omani sweets market. There is another market distinguished by its ancient history, the Eastern Market, which includes shops of herbalists, natural herbs, incense, and Omani frankincense. After that, we will take you on a tour in classic electric cars in one of the oldest villages in the Sultanate of Oman to live the ancient history and see the houses built of mud and stones. On this trip, you will also see the farms and falaj through which the farms are watered in the old traditional way, in addition to seeing the oven that is used for cooking. Traditional Omani barbecue You can then visit Nizwa Fort and Nizwa Museum

  • Day 1 :

    Departure
    Breakfast in the hotel.
    Pick up time from the hotel and check out.  
    Drive to Wadi Bani Khalid. The wadi has clear deep blue waters, where the shade of the palm trees is inviting for a relaxing siesta! Catch a glimpse of the pretty villages scattered all over Wadi Bani Khalid as they cling precariously to the slopes of the rugged mountain-side (Please bring along your swimwear, the clear waters of the Wadi are very inviting! Also please note that light clothing and walking shoes may be more suitable on this trip). Lunch in local restaurant. After lunch, drive to sur and visit the fishermen’s harbor where you can witness the fishermen in action.
  • Day 2 :

    City Tour
    Guest will pick-up from the hotel and proceed on to the Dhow building yard.  Dhows are traditional Omani wooden fisher boats that are even today, built by hand. Proceed to visit an Old private house which is converted to a Museum where they will talk about the History of Oman and Zanzibar. Continue via Qalhat where Bibi Miriam’s tomb (photo stop from the main highway) is located.
