Old Nizwa Tourism was founded in September 2019 under the name "Abu Yamen Tours". We are the first company in the Sultanate of Oman to organize tours using electric classic cars.

We are a leader in this field, and our tours have helped to boost tourism in the city of Nizwa and the Sultanate of Oman as a whole. Our concept has been copied by other operators in the Sultanate, and it has been well-received by government agencies, community members, and tourists.

The idea for Old Nizwa Tourism came to our founder, Mr. Younis bin Ali Al-Anqoodi, in the late 1990s. He had a vision for tourism in the city of Nizwa that was different from the traditional approach. He wanted to bring more tourists to this historic city, which is home to many ancient landmarks dating back over a thousand years. He began working on the project in 2018, and it was launched on September 10, 2019, as the first unique tourist experience to enter the Omani market. It has been well-received by everyone, including government agencies, community members, and tourists.
